Mav Finds is a home-and-kitchen product discovery project. We focus on the practical question behind a purchase: what job does this tool solve, and is it the right shape, size and design for the way you live?
Our product notebook is a collection of buying guides. The Mav Finds list is a narrower editorial selection. A product can be worth understanding without automatically earning a place on the list.
How our guides are researched
We start with the exact model, then check manufacturer information and relevant primary sources. We explain product facts separately from our editorial judgments, link our sources, and point out limitations and variant differences. Research and drafting can be AI-assisted; that is not a substitute for checking the source or a claim of personal experience.
These first guides are based on research, not in-house product testing. We do not invent ownership, test results, customer stories, retailer ratings or current editorial rankings. Where a retailer link is a search rather than an exact listing, we label it accordingly.
What we value
A clear use, understandable tradeoffs and a good fit for the buyer matter more to us than filling a page with shopping buttons. We do not call a product the best simply because it appears in a research database or an old roundup.
